The UFC 300 is advertised as the biggest and most extravagant edition of the mixed martial arts promotion.

The promotion will return to its home base in Las Vegas on April 13, and the organization promised that it will be like no other.

The event will feature the most stacked and unpredictable lineups in the sport's history.

While exciting matchups have been revealed, the UFC 300 main event is yet to be announced.

However, there was another hiccup as UFC CEO and President Dana White prematurely announced what was supposed to be an important fight of the night while the details have yet to be ironed out.

This led to one fighter backing out.

"I can tell you there's another fight on [UFC] 300, one of the particulars has not agreed to yet," UFC insider Ariel Helwani said in his show The MMA Hour.

"I'm not gonna say which fight it is, and I'll tell you it's probably not a main card fight, but there's another fight on that card that was put out before one of the fighters agreed to it - and as of this second, they have not agreed to it yet."

Helwani added that White did it because he was trying to be the first to announce a blockbuster fight faster than other MMA news outlets.

Right now, 11 scheduled fight cards are lined up for UFC 300, headed by the symbolic BMF (Baddest MF) title bout between Justin Gaethje and Max Holloway.

Also on the cards is the first-ever fight between two Chinese-born athletes as two-time champion Zhang Weili and Yan Xiaonan meet for the UFC Women's Strawweight Championship.

UFC 300 fight rumors

Chimaev wants a title fight

All roads lead to Las Vegas on April 13 for many fighting enthusiasts. Even players want to get in on the ring.

Undefeated UFC middleweight Khamzat Chimaev is vying for a spot and already talked to Dana White.

He said White promised him a title shot, and he would love to do it at UFC 300.

He wants Dricus du Plessis, who recently won against Sean Strickland. However, the South African called out Israel Adesanya, who is on a break.

"All these guys have fought each other, and only me is undefeated, undisputed," he told ESPN.

"They promised me, after the Usman fight, I will for sure fight for the title.

"In my mind, it should be me [who should fight for a title next],"

"I asked [UFC chief business officer Hunter Campbell] to let me fight at UFC 300. We'll see what they say."

Israel Adesanya to return at UFC 300

Big names should be in the UFC 300 main event. How about Israel Adesanya?

The Stylebender teased fans last week of his possible return after he posted a picture of the 300 film on his Instagram story with the caption, "the gods must be crazy."

He went silent after that.

Adesanya is currently inactive after deciding to take a break for his mental health. Before that, he lost to Sean Strickland at UFC 293 held in September.
