The Golden State Warriors need to get better.

However, they did not show some sense of urgency before the NBA trade deadline hit, staying silent even though many teams already inquired about players on their roster.

Looks like they are ready to go all in with whatever cards they have.

Steve Kerr is impressed with his backup players, particularly rookie forward Gui Santos.

"The second unit is coming to the game with a lot of energy. Especially because we know Steph-you saw what he did today," he said about Santos after their win over the Indiana Pacers.

"He's the guy to make us be on another level so being (in) the second unit. We know that we've got to play really, really hard ... so when he gets in the game again, he keeps building up, building up and building up."

They are at least four games behind the Top 6 for an instant playoff spot. They are in 11th place behind the Utah Jazz.

There is still a way to get better, though. There is the buyout market where there are serviceable players the team can sign.

Some players can fill the hole in the squad.

Here are the Top 3 players the Golden State Warriors can sign:

1. Spencer Dinwiddie

Despite a lackluster second tenure with the Brooklyn Nets, Spencer Dinwiddie remains a good bench player. He averaged 12.6 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 6 assists in 48 games.

He, however, averaged just 32 percent from the three-point line and 39.1 percent field goal. This may be attributed to the shooting guard position logjam in the Nets as his minutes get limited with the presence of Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Cam Thomas, and Dorian Finney-Smith.

The Warriors can use an energizer from the bench who can create his shots when Stephen Curry is taken out to rest. The best part about Dinwiddie is that he can also play defense.

He can also be a good playmaker with Chris Paul still out.

2. Danilo Gallinari

Gallinari, waived by the Pistons, did not see much court time this ongoing season but remains a certified bucket-getter. All he needs is to get healthy, and he has plenty of time for rehab before getting waived.

Gallinari can relieve the pressure off Curry and Klay Thompson with his outside shooting.

He can also slide to a center role, which he did effectively for the Wizards and Pistons.

Gallinari could also be an upgrade for Dario Saric since he has better offensive abilities and can create his shots.

3. Marcus Morris Sr.

An enforcer is what the Warriors need down low.

Marcus Morris Sr. is a combo forward who can play offense and defense.

He shot 40 percent from the three-point line with the 76ers in under 17 minutes.

He can be an excellent fit for the Warriors' small ball system. He can move to play power forward or center on defense if need be.
