The NBA All-Star Weekend is finally upon us!

The three-night extravaganza, which is a showcase of the league's brightest stars, is taking place at Bainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, the city's first time hosting an All-Star game since the event's inception over 40 years ago.

This year the 73rd NBA All-Star game will be played on Sunday night and has gone back to a showdown between Eastern and Western Conference stars, the first time that format has been done since 2017.

NBA All-Star Break: Meet Your All-Stars

Stars like Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokumpo and point guard Damian Lillard, Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum, and Indiana Pacers point guard Tyrese Haliburton

headline the Eastern Conference.

The Western Conference is headlined by Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James, Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant, Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic, Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and Denver Nuggets star and reigning NBA Finals MVP Nikola Jokic.

Here are some of the reserves for the game.

Eastern Conference Reserves:

Bam Adebayo, Miami Heat
Paolo Banchero, Orlando Magic
Jaylen Brown, Boston Celtics
Jalen Brunson, New York Knicks
Tyrese Maxey, Philadelphia 76ers
Donovan Mitchell, Cleveland Cavaliers
Julius Randle, New York Knicks (Injury Replacement)

Western Conference Reserves:

Devin Booker, Phoenix Suns
Stephen Curry, Golden State Warriors
Anthony Davis, Los Angeles Lakers
Anthony Edwards, Minnesota Timberwolves
Paul George, LA Clippers

Hawks point guard Trae Young and Toronto Raptors forward Scottie Barnes will replace Joel Embiid and Julius Randle, both out due to injury.

NBA All-Star Game: West Topple the East

As usual, you can expect the game to be a high-scoring affair between some of the league's best.

Last year's game saw Team Giannis defeat Team LeBron with a final score of 184-175.

Although the Eastern Conference features some of the best guards in the league in Brunson, Haliburton, and Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell; the Western Conference team has more size with players like Jokic, Lakers star Anthony Davis, and Karl Anthony Towns, all of whom can oppose their will on the smaller Eastern Conference team.

Final Score: We see the West taking the win 165-148.
