San Antonio Spurs super rookie Victor Wembanyama was happier than usual on Sunday night.

They recorded their fourth win in 10 games after edging the Brooklyn Nets in overtime, 122-115.

"I love it," Wembanyama said about his late-game performance.

"I think those moments are where we progress the most, where we get better rather than any other moment in the game. So, it's really, really enjoyable, especially when we win."

A happy Wemby after the game is a rare sight. The kid just wants to win, but that hardly comes by as part of a rebuilding Spurs.

Sometimes, he seemed indifferent about his historical statistical records because those came in losses.

Happy Wemby because of a win might not happen a lot this season. However, when it comes to historic performances, be prepared because there is a good chance it will happen regularly.

With his freakish body and high basketball I.Q.- and if he can stay healthy-Wemby might be up there with the greatest ever once he wraps it all up.

He will have his time to reach that level.

In the meantime, here are the Top 3 best Victor Wembanyama stats so far in his rookie season.

Against the Nets (March 17)

The French rookie posted 33 points, 15 rebounds, seven blocks, and seven assists against the visiting Nets.

Before him, that stat line was achieved only three times. Kareem Abdul Jabbar did it twice as a 27 and 33-year-old. Joel Embiid is the other guy when he was only 23 years old.

This means Wemby is the youngest ever to produce those numbers in the history of the NBA.

Wemby is alone in this level if a 3-point is included in this stat line.

Against the Lakers (February 23)

Wemby posted 27 points, ten rebounds, eight assists, five blocks, and five steals in their loss against the Los Angeles Lakers, becoming only the second player to do it after two-time MVP Hakeem Olajuwon.

It should have been a back-to-back 5-5-5-5 for Wembanyama. However, he was one assist short the night before as he only had 19 points, 13 rebounds, five steals, five blocks, and four assists against the Sacramento Kings less than 24 hours before.

Against the multiple teams (February 2nd week)

Wemby scored 27 points, 15 rebounds, 10 blocks, and five assists against the Toronto Raptors on February 12. He joins Hall-of-Famers Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Hakeem Olajuwon, Ralph Sampson, and the Spurs' own David David Robinson on an exclusive list of players with 25/15/10/5 in a single game.

He also became the first rookie to record separate triple-doubles involving assists and blocks in that game.

Two days later, he recorded another milestone: He became the first rookie since Shaquille O'Neal to reach 1,000 points, 150 blocks, and 150 assists in 50 career games-he did it in just 49 games.

Despite Victor Wembanyama's stats, both games ended up in a loss.
