Formula One legend Sebastian Vettel disclosed that he is contemplating a return to the grid in the future but with one condition.

This week, the four-time world champion briefly appeared on "The Chris Moyles Show" on Radio X in the United Kingdom.

During the interview, he mentioned that he still follows the sport and provides an update on his future.

"I'm following the sport, I see what's going on. And it [a return] might be appealing and interesting, but it really depends on the full package because it is a big commitment as well, with all the other stuff going on outside the driving activity," the 36-year-old said.

The German racer retired from the sport after the 2022 F1 season. However, he believes he is still in physical condition to make a comeback at the age of 36.

Vettel mentioned that he wanted to spend more time with his family, leading to his retirement. With the F1 calendar now at a historic 24 races this season, it may pose a challenge for his potential return.

Sebastian Vettel also shares conversations with Toto Wolff

During another interview on Sky Sports News this week, Vettel said he has been conversing with Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff.

"I've had conversations with him [Wolff], not really about the seat. We did speak about the whole situation in short as well. But I did speak to others as well because I'm still keeping in touch every now and then," Vettel admitted.

He added that it would take a couple more phone calls to open up the possibility of his return to the grid.
