The Los Angeles Lakers have included their top two players on the injury report list ahead of their highly anticipated play-in tournament game on the road against the New Orleans Pelicans.

The outcome of this game, scheduled for Tuesday, April 16, at the Smoothie King Center, will decide the seventh seed in the Western Conference, setting up a first-round clash against the defending NBA champions, the Denver Nuggets.

Lakers stars LeBron James and Anthony Davis have been added to the injured list, joining three other teammates ahead of the upcoming game.

James is listed as "probable" due to a left ankle peroneal tendinopathy, a condition that has troubled him over the past few months.

Meanwhile, Davis is listed as "questionable" due to back spasms he experienced after a play involving Pelicans big man Larry Nance Jr. in the final game of the regular season.

"Probable" suggests a high likelihood of playing, around 75 percent, often indicating a minor ailment bothering the player. On the other hand, "questionable" implies a 50/50 chance of playing.

However, Davis stated during their last post-game interview that he has "no doubt" about participating in the play-in game.
