Gilbert 'Agent Zero' Arenas Planning NBA Comeback? [VIDEO]

Gilbert Arenas is currently training for an NBA return, according to TMZ.com.

The website reports the man long saluted as Agent Zero in his high-flying Washington Wizards days has had an apparent change-of-heart after publicly indicating just month that he was walking away from the game for good.

TMZ adds Arenas' decision was somewhat made easier based on the fact he is still owed some $38 million from the $111 million contract he inked with the Wiz in what now seems a lifetime ago.

But now the 31-year-old Arenas stresses he's had a change of heart and he's hoping for yet another shot. At the height of his NBA career during the 2009-10 season, Arenas was suspended for most of the season after bringing handguns into the Wizards locker room during a dispute with then teammate Javarais Crittenden over an alleged gambling debt.

In 2010, the Wiz dealt him to the Orlando Magic, where he never regained his form and was waived by the team in December of 2011. Later that year, Arenas signed a deal to play for the Memphis Grizzlies that also proved short lived and since 2012 he has been out of the league.

Arenas spent part of the 2012 season playing for the Shanghai Sharks of the Chinese Basketball Association and now agains appears to have NBA fever.

Over his 11 NBA seasons, Arenas has averaged 21 points, five assists and four rebounds.
