Carmelo Anthony To Los Angeles; Clippers More Than Lakers? [VIDEO]

Carmelo Anthony's New York Knicks teammates expect him to leave the organization when he can become a free agent this summer, according to HoopsWorld.com.

The website adds most of the players all agree Anthony is more than likely headed for Los Angeles, though they seem split about just which team he'll be suiting up for.

According to HoopsWorld, several insiders now believe the Clippers are more likely than the once heavily-favored Lakers to land the high-scoring forward. With the climate being as such, some even further speculate that both the Knicks and Clips may now be open to consummating a deal in which Clips do indeed land the rights Anthony.

Whatever Anthony ultimately decides to do or where he elects to land, the effects all the posturing has had on him now seems to be weighing on him. Already in the depths of a 9-18 hole, some have already started to whisper about how "disengaged" Anthony now seems.

Though averaging 26.3 ppg on the season, Anthony has been held to just 19 in the team's last game against Orlando.

The Knicks play four of their next six game on the road, including tough matchups against Oklahoma City and San Antonio.
