Robert Griffin III purchased Xbox Ones as a Christmas gift for all his linemen this season, according to NBC Sports.
After a tumultuous year that ended with RGIII benched for the last three games of the season, Griffin stepped forward and made an effort to lighten the mood.
Hoping to spread a little holiday cheer--- not to mention goodwill among teammates heading into a critical offseason--- NBC reports Griffin dug deep into his plentiful pockets to make the purchase for each of his linemen.
After a record-setting rookie season, Griffin, still strengthening his knee from offseason aCL surgery, was sacked 38 times this season and at times barely reflected the player many marveled at last year.
Making matters even more tense were constant reports of bickering within the locker room, much of it based around the offense RGIII and company were forced to utilized under coach Mike Shanahan.
"Good season or bad, these are the guys I fight with," Griffin tweeted of his gifts, a marked improvement over the portable speakers he reportedly gifted teammates last season.
