Michael Vick Injury: [VIDEO] QB Expects To Start Somewhere in 2014 'My Skill Set Is Still There'

Oft-injured quarterback Michael Vick believes he'll be healthy enough to play somewhere as a starting quarterback in 2014, and hasn't ruled out a return to the Philadelphia Eagles "if all else fails."

Vick started 2013 as the Eagles starter but was replaced by Nick Foles after a hamstring injury against the New York Giants on Oct. 6, and he never got the starting job back. Vick will be 34 in June.

Vick hasn't played a full season since signing with the Eagles in 2009 due to a myriad of injuries, but he doesn't expect his injury history to hurt his chances of getting a starting job somewhere next season.

"I don't worry about it," Vick said, according to CSNPhilly.com. "My skill set is still there, my arm is still there, my legs are still there, I'm still a playmaker, that's evident. I think at some point I'll be playing somewhere."

Vick appeared in seven games this season, throwing for 1,215 yards with five touchdowns and three picks this season before the injury while rushing for two touchdowns and 306 yards.

Foles appeared in 13 games for the Eagles and passed for 2,891 yards and 27 touchdowns with just two interceptions. Foles has 221 rushing yards while reaching the end zone three times.

Vick said if he can't find a starting job elsewhere next season, he'd be okay with returning to the Eagles as a backup behind Foles. Foles and the Eagles (10-6) won the NFC East Division title by defeating the Dallas Cowboys last Sunday night and will now focus on hosting the New Orleans Saints (11-6) on Saturday in the Wild-Card round of the playoffs.

That is all Vick is focusing on now.

"It all depends what happens, where I'm at in my career. Never rule it out," he said of returning to Philadelphia, according to CSNPhilly.com. "But I'm not thinking of that right now. I'm not thinking about the future. I'm just thinking about doing whatever I can to help this team win a Super Bowl."
