New York Jets rookie quarterback Geno Smith made a rookie mistake in his personal life when he decided to snap a picture of his penis and send it to a woman he had met through social media and started a relationship with, according to reports. The woman leaked the photos after discovering Smith had a girlfriend he didn't tell her about.
Smith, who had an up-and-down first season for the Jets after taking over for the injured Mark Sanchez (shoulder) out of the preseason, had a fling with a woman from Atlanta for over the last month, Deadspin.com reports. The report, which Deadspin.com cites from the website Baller Alert, shares the story of the woman having a sexual relationship with Smith in North Carolina and then again in New York over Christmas before learning he had a girlfriend.
According to the woman, she went on her Instagram account and saw that Smith had started following her. Unaware of who he was, the woman looked at his pictures and saw him in pictures with Jay Z before realizing he's in the NFL and she opted to follow him back. The report indicates that Smith then asked for her number and the two began chatting but he never mentioned having a girlfriend.
Smith then invited the woman to the Jets game in Charlotte, N.C., and it was the first time they engaged in a sexual relationship. Smith then asked her to come to New York over Christmas, and she obliged as the two had a sexual relationship again. The woman said she went through Smith's friend's page and discovered that Smith indeed had a girlfriend which then angered her and caused her to end the relationship.
The woman said Smith was "blowing me up to come see him but never told me he had a girlfriend," in a paragraph she wrote that was transcribed onto Deadspin.com.
After Jets fans doubted her story, the woman put up screenshots of conversations she had with Smith and even included a photo of Smith's penis from Facetime which can be seen by clicking here (NSFW).
Smith joins the list of Sanchez, Brett Favre and Joe Namath, who have had their problems with sharing too much with women.
Smith had more than a few troubles on the field this season, but now those troubles have followed him into his personal life.
