Batista WWE Return 2014 [VIDEO]: 'The Animal' To Stay For Two Years?

It is well known that "The Animal" Batista will make his long-awaited return to the WWE on the Jan. 20 episode of Monday Night RAW, but there have been conflicting reports over whether his contract is long-term or just up until the WWE's SummerSlam pay-per-view in August, with the new reports indicating that Batista's deal is a two-year or more contract.

Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that there have indeed been contradictory reports regarding Batista's return to the WWE for the first time since 2010, with some saying he will work from the Jan. 20 RAW through WrestleMania XXX on April 6 and others saying he will return Jan. 20 and his deal lasts until after the SummerSlam pay-per-view.

Reports now indicate that the deal is a final run for "The Animal" and that Batista's pact will last for the next two years and possibly even longer, with the deal obviously working around his acting schedule.

When Batista returns this month on RAW, it is likely he'll cut a promo about entering the 30-man over-the-top-rope Royal Rumble match. It has been highly speculated that Batista will win the match and go on to face Randy Orton for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XXX.

Reports also indicated that Batista may also be involved in the Elimination Chamber match along with Orton, John Cena, Daniel Bryan, CM Punk and Brock Lesnar in the six-man match at the February pay-per-view, however it was due to comments that Triple H made loosely and more of an assumption than a fact.

If Batista wins the Rumble match, it would be interesting to see if he gets two shots at the title at Elimination Chamber and WrestleMania.

It's expected that Batista will likely face Orton, while if Cena wins the match between himself and Orton at the Royal Rumble, plans could change. Cena is still reportedly involved with Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania.

"The Animal" Batista returns Jan. 20 and it seems like he'll be a big part of WWE storylines for the next few years.
