Tonight at 7:00 p.m. ET, the Nashville Predators (18-18-4, 40 points) and Boston Bruins (26-12-2, 52 points) faceoff live from the TD Garden in Boston in the second and final meeting between these two teams this season. Nashville kicks off a three-game road trip tonight while Boston enters play looking to snap a two-game losing streak. The first time these two teams met, the Bruins topped the Predators 6-2 in Nashville on Dec. 23.

The Bruins look to bounce back from a 5-2 loss to the New York Islanders on Tuesday.

"We've lost two in a row now," coach Claude Julien said via NHL.com. "We don't like being in that situation, so hopefully we get a positive response from our team on Thursday."

The Predators need to start winning games to make it to the playoffs and currently sit nine games out, but the players are still optimistic.

"We're back to .500 and feeling good about ourselves and are getting on a roll," Mike Fisher, who has three goals in his last two games, told in the Tennessean. "We're not that far out of it. We've got a good group here and we're playing well. We've beaten a lot of great teams this year. We just haven't had the consistency that we need."

David Legwand leads the Predators with 25 points off of six goals and 19 assists while Craig Smith has 11 tallies and 12 helpers for 23 points and Shea Weber has lit the lamp nine times and added 13 assists for 23 points.

David Krejci has a five-game scoring streak and paces the Bruins with 35 points off of nine goals and 26 assists while Reilly Smith has 14 markers and 17 helpers for 31 points and Milan Lucic has lit the lamp 12 times and added 17 assists for 29 points and has a five-game point streak.

In net, Boston is likely to go with Tuukka Rask, who is 20-9-2 with a 1.99 goals-against average and .932 save percentage while Marek Mazanec will likely suit up for Nashville and is 7-8-1 with a 2.76 GAA and a .907 save percentage.

The Predators hope to start their road trip out on a good note while the Bruins look to avoid a three-game skid when the puck drops tonight at TD Garden in Boston.
