Andre Miller, Denver Coach Brian Shaw Argue On Bench During Philadelphia Loss [VIDEO]

Tensions are rising in Denver, where veteran guard Andre Miller staged a full-blown tirade on the Nuggets bench after being benched by rookie coach Brian Shaw during the team's Wednesday night loss to Philadelphia.

According to ProBasketballTalk.com, Miller yelled about the disrespect he felt he was being shown by the benching and warned Shaw if he felt he was being disrespected he would do the same to the coach.

"There's a time and place for everything," Shaw later told ProBasketballTalk. "In the middle of the arena in front of everyone ... I just tried to calm it down."

After beginning the season averaging nearly 20 minutes a game, Miller has seen his playing time drastically reduced in recent games, culminating in Wednesday night's total benching.

Over his last 10 games, Miller has seen his shooting percentage fall to 49.3 percent and for the season he is assisting on just 26.7 percent of his teammates buckets when on the court, well down from the 32.2 percent he was at last season.

With the Nuggets falling far short of expectations and Miller clearly growing more disenchanted, ProBasketballTalk predicts the veteran guard may well find himself on the trading block as the trade deadline nears.
