NBA Nickname Jerseys [PHOTO]: Ray Allen Jesus Shuttlesworth Jersey Unveiled, Heat, Nets Monikers Released

When the Miami Heat and Brooklyn Nets tip off Friday at the Barclays Center, both teams will be sporting different looking jerseys as the NBA unveils the new "nickname" jerseys during the game where each player will wear their team's jersey with their nickname written on the back of it instead of their actual last name. Photos of the Heat's jersey's have been revealed.

Both teams have revealed what their players will wear on the back and some of the Heat's highlighted players include LeBron James (King James), Ray Allen (J. Shuttlesworth), Chris Andersen (Birdman), Chris Bosh (CB) and Dwyane Wade (D.Wade).

The full roster of the Heat players and their nicknames goes as follows, according to Deadspin.com.

Ray Allen: "J. Shuttlesworth"

The Brooklyn Nets have also released what some of their players will be wearing for Friday night's game, and some of the more popular ones include Kevin Garnett (The Big Ticket), Brook Lopez (Brooklyn) and Paul Pierce (Truth). Joe Johnson (JJ) decided not to go with his recent "Joe Jesus" moniker.

The list of what the players will wear is as follows:

Reggie Evans: "Joker"
Kevin Garnett: "The Big Ticket"
Joe Johnson: "JJ"
Andrei Kirilenko: "Кириленко"
Brook Lopez: "Brooklyn"
Paul Pierce: "Truth"
Mason Plumlee: "Plums"
Jason Terry: "Jet"
Deron Williams: "D-Will"

According to Deadspin.com, Shane Battier wanted to wear "Batman," but it would have been a trademark violation while Andrei Kirilenko wanted to go with "AK-47," but it was reportedly nixed by the league for obvious reasons.

The Nets (13-21) and Southeast Division-leading Heat (27-8) show off their new uniforms Friday at 8:00 p.m. ET when the game tips off.
