Lamar Odom, Khloe Kardashian Break Up Rumors: NBA Vet, Reality TV Star Place Home On Market For $5.5 Million [VIDEO]

The dissolution of the Lamar Odom, Khloe Kardashian empire has formally commenced, with the Tarzana mansion the now estranged couple once shared being placed on the market at $5.5 million.

According to the L.A. Times, the once high-profile couple bought the home in 2009 for $3.95 million. Kardashian, 29, formally filed for divorce from her husband of four years on Dec. 13 citing irreconcilable differences.

The Times describes the 8,000-square-foot home as a "mediterranean-style villa" that sits on three-quarters of an acre in gated Mulholland Park. The estate also features a two-story foyer with a sweeping staircase, custom closets, mosaic tile details, a den, a home theater, seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms.

In addition, The Times reports its resort-like grounds include a swimming pool with waterfalls and a spa, an outdoor kitchen and fire pits.

Odom, 34, is currently looking to resume his NBA career and recently met with the L.A. Clippers about the prospect of re-signing with the team. The former Sixth Man of the Year Award winner played for the Lakers from 2004 to 2011 and for the Clippers from 1999 to 2003 and again from 2012 to 2013.

Kardashian continues to star in her family themed reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians, which also features older sister Kim Kardashian and momager Kris Jenner.

The Times adds the sell is being handled by Ewing Sotheby's International Realty and Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices.
