Alex Rodriguez Suspension: Biogenesis Founder Anthony Bosch Will Exposes A-Rod on '60 Minutes' [VIDEO]

He came to bury A-Rod, not praise him.

Biogenesis founder Anthony Bosch has conducted an interview with CBS' "60 Minutes" about Bosch's dealings with suspended New York Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez that will air tonight. CBS showed a portion of the interview at halftime of the New England Patriots-Indianapolis Colts playoff game.

The CBS Evening News also talked about the upcoming interview in a segment on Saturday night.

News of Rodriguez's 162-game suspension - or the entire 2014 season - spread quickly on Saturday. The suspension stemmed from an investigation into the Biogenesis clinic, founded by Bosch, in which Major League Baseball handed down 13 suspensions to players affiliated with the wellness clinic in Coral Gables, Fla.

Rodriguez is the only player to appeal.

According to USA TODAY Sports, Bosch issued a statement on A-Rod's suspension, saying that he "doesn't take joy in seeing Alex Rodriguez suspended from baseball, but he believes the arbitrator's decision was appropriate. He is glad to have the arbitration behind him and believes he can play a valuable role in the future by educating athletes about the dangers of performance enhancing drugs."

According to the CBS Evening News promo, however, "60 Minutes" reporter Scott Pelley said that Bosch told him when information on Biogenesis was leaked to a newspaper, "associates of Rodriguez attempted to bribe him to stay quiet." When that didn't work, he says they attempted to get him out of the country. And then when that didn't work, he says he started getting death threats and he was afraid for his life, he tells us in the interview, and that drove him into the arms of Major League Baseball."

Pelley added that Rodriguez was taking six different performance-enhancing drugs. During the CBS football halftime promo, posted on Deadspin.com, Bosch revealed that A-Rod is "scared of needles" and asked Bosch at times to inject him.

It was unclear whether the "60 Minutes" interview was part of the agreement that MLB made with Bosch when he went to MLB with the information.
