Ryan Lochte Parents Foreclosure: Judge Awards Florida Home to Bank in October, 2013 After Two-Plus Years of Missed Payments [VIDEO]

At the very least, Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte appears in need of a better public relations employee. The worst-case scenario is that Lochte is not a very supportive son.

Multiple media outlets reported Friday that Lochte's parents are losing their home to foreclosure.

According to radaronline.com, Steve and Ileana Lochte have not made payments on the house in Port Orange, Fla., in nearly three years. CitiMortgage claimed it hasn't received a house payment since February, 2011. The bank initially sued the Lochtes in 2012, saying that the couple borrowed $258,000 in 2007.

The Lochtes still owe more than $242,000, radaronline.com reported. On Oct. 31, 2013, a judge signed a judgment in favore of CitiMortgage for $304,219.95. CitiMortgage received the Certificate of Title in December.

Radaronline.com also reported that Steven Lochte was arrested and charged with DUI in April of 2010 and had his driver's license suspended for one year.

Lochte, considered a rival of Michael Phelps, owns 11 Olympic medals, including five gold, spanning three different Summer Games - Athens 2004, Beijing 2008 and London 2012. According to LarryBrownSports.com, CelebrityNetWorth.com estimates Lochte to be worth about $3 million. He suffered a freak injury in November when an excited fan jumped into his arms, causing him to fall down and spraining ligaments in his knee.

But Lochte's father insists that they don't need Ryan's help.

"It's not Ryan's problem, we would never ask him for help," Steven Lochte told the Daily Mail earlier this week. "Everything's sorted, I have a town house, my ex-wife has her own home. We're all good."

Radaronline.com added that the foreclosure came after Ryan's parents decided to get divorced. It's possible that they may not have told their son they stopped making payments, but they should have known that such a decision would put Ryan in a negative light.

And if Ryan knew, he should have instructed them to sell the house rather than to stop making payments.

The New York Post's Page Six reported that Ryan's family has embarrassed him in the past. His sister Megan Lochte went on a talk show after the 2008 Beijing Olympics and uttered racial slurs against the Chinese.
