Khloe Kardashian's breakup with NBA husband Lamar Odom has left her feeling like a "shattered" person the reality TV star revealed Sunday night during the season premiere of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
"I've been in hiding because I'm afraid of people," Kardashian said during the beginning of the episode. "I've been putting myself aside to hopefully save somebody else's life. And now that I've come to terms that I can't, I have to move on with my life and that means changing a lot."
Kardashian filed for divorce from Odom on Dec. 13, citing irreconcilable differences following a summer during which he was rumored to have a hardcore drug addiction and to have repeatedly cheated on her.
Later in the episode, Bruce and Kris Jenner also confirmed longstanding rumors that they too are experiencing marital woes.
"We both have to admit that the energy between us seems to be better when we're apart right now," said Bruce Jenner . "It seems to be we're doing better being apart, and just seeing each other here and there. To be honest with you I can't see it going back."
Toward the end of the episode, the couple informs their younger daughters that after 23 years they were formally separating and Bruce Jenner would be moving out.
