Percy Harvin Injury Update: Concussion Recovery In Time To Face Denver Broncos In Super Bowl XLVIII? [VIDEO]

Percy Harvin is expected to be available for the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XLVIII, according to ProFootballTalk.com.

Harvin set out the Seahawks 23-17 NFC Championship Game win over San Francisco with a concussion. After being acquired by Seattle from Minnesota for three draft picks, Harvin also missed most of the regular season with a hip injury.

But with two weeks off before facing the Denver Broncos, ProFootballTalk reports the Seahawks are confident Harvin will be able to compete. In announcing that he would miss the 49ers game, coach Pete Carroll stressed how badly his star wideout wanted to get back on the field.

"He wants to play," Carroll told the website. "You could see it. He played his tail off when he had his chance. Just unfortunate circumstances, you know. He'll be back practicing next week. He'll be ready to go and get back on the field, and we'll be thrilled to have him back."

A healthy Harvin figures to give Seahawk quarterback Russell Wilson one more downfield option and will help keep the Broncos defense from zeroing in on star runner Marshawn Lynch.

Denver advanced to the Super Bowl by knocking off Tom Brady and New England 23-17.
