In the days leading up to her formally filing for divorce from NBA husband Lamar Odom, Khloe Kardashian engaged in a tear-jerking phone call with her soon-to-be-ex husband where he was clearly under the influence and barely able to articulate his thoughts.
The scene airs in the latest episode of the reality TV starlet's Keeping Up With The Kardashians reality show on the Bravo Network. According to HollywoodLife.com, the 29-year-old Kardashian "was trying her best to mend her broken marriage" when she got word that Odom's father, Joe, had publicly attacked her entire family as the source of all his son's struggles.
As Odom feebly attempted to explain things to his wife, his inebriated condition becomes more and more apparent and his words began to slur. When his wife reminds him that he needed to meet his attorneys on a then-pending DUI case the next day or face being dropped as a client, Odom meekly responds "that's the story of my life."
Radar adds later when Kardashian leaves her home paparazzi members can be heard ridiculing her with taunts of "are you going to pick up Lamar from Skid Row?"
More recently, Odom has insisted he has now put his rumored drug addiction behind him and is intent on resurrecting his NBA career. The former NBA Sixth Man of the Year Award winner recently met with his old L.A. Clippers team about rejoining the organization.
