Khloe Kardashian based her decision to sell the California mansion she once shared with soon-to-be ex NBA husband Lamar Odom on a "darkness" that needed to be cleaned out.
According to ABCNews.com, Kardashian admitted during Sunday night's episode of her Keeping Up With The Kardashians reality TV show that she didn't want to" sell her house but feel she had little choice when she and Odom decided last month to end their marriage of four years.
During the episode, the 29-year-old Kardashian also claimed "that she had stayed away from their home, even living out of her car," since formally filing divorce papers on Dec. 13. "I've basically thrown all my bare necessities into some suitcases and I'm kind of living out of my car right now," she said. "Literally my car has duffle bags on duffle bags in it."
Several media outlets have reported Kardashian has agreed to sell the seven-bedroom, 8,0008,000-sq-ft. property to Big Bang Theory newlywed Kaley Cuoco for $5.49 million, a profit of roughly $1.5 million on the nearly $4 million she and Odom paid for the home in 2009.
Reportedly, Kardashian is now searching for a home closer to momager Kris Jenner in Hidden Hills.
