Derrick Rose Injury Update: Kevin Love Says Summer Workout Partner Will Be MVP Of Old [VIDEO]

Kevin Love insists he has no doubts Derrick Rose will make it all the way back from his second season-ending knee surgery in as many seasons.

Love, who typically spends his summers working out with the Chicago Bulls star in California, told the Chicago Tribune on Monday he's convinced he will regain his elite status based on how hard he works out and how committed he is to the game.

"Oh, not at all," the Minnesota Timberwolves forward told the newspaper when asked if he has any reservations about the youngest MVP in league history. "I have no doubt in my mind that he'll come back and be DRose. Derrick is the type of guy who is going to do everything he can to get back on the floor at 100 percent as quickly as he can. He's one of the hardest workers in the game. And that's why he's one of the best players in the game."

Love said he hadn't yet talked to Rose but knows what to expect based on his personal experiences with him and how hard the Bulls work as a team.

"Last summer, he worked extremely hard," he told The Tribune. "But he also worked extremely smart. There were a lot of things he did with his body to make sure he was good to go. He also took certain days off and hit it hard the next day. He's an extremely efficient hard worker. And I admire a guy like that."
