WrestleMania 30 Rumors [VIDEO]: Sting Update: WWE Gives Two Week Deadline For Sting To Join Company? Undertaker Match Off?

It has been reported over the last few weeks that talks between the WWE and Sting about a program heading into WrestleMania XXX in New Orleans at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on April 6 are ongoing, and the latest reports indicate that the WWE wants to sign Sting within the next two weeks and hopes he will make the decision to join the company for the biggest event of the year.

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, Sting's talks with the company have continued and the internal feeling is that a decision on whether or not Sting joins the company needs to be made within the next two weeks.

The report indicates that there are several factors that need to be worked out before Sting joins the company, and one of those hurdles is what Sting is and isn't willing to do creatively. While the talks have continued, there is no guarantee that Sting will come to the WWE for the first time in his career, and he may even opt to re-up his deal with TNA for one more year.

Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that there is a feeling by Sting that if he is to ever join the WWE, now is the time as the window for him to do so could be closing after years of the WWE trying to land him.

According to the report, if the WWE does land Sting, he likely won't be facing The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXX and the company is likely to go with the rumored Brock Lesnar vs. Undertaker match at the big show.

While the match between Sting and 'Taker likely won't happen, it appears as though the WWE would want to have Sting either make a cameo or be in a vignette that will be aired at WrestleMania XXX.

Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that there is another key reason that the WWE wants to bring him in and it has to do with the launching of the WWE Network next month. Since the WWE is putting a lot of WCW content on the network, the belief is that Sting is the face of WCW and his inclusion on WWE television could help promote the content more than superstars like Ric Flair and Diamond Dallas Page since Sting would be a unique face.

It remains to be seen what will happen, but if the WWE and Sting don't agree on anything in the next two weeks he may never set foot in a WWE ring, let alone be a part of WrestleMania XXX.
