Tim Tebow is set to host ABC News' Good Morning America on Friday as part of the GMA anchor team, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The former NFL quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner recently signed with ESPN, which like GMA, is owned by Disney. The Reporter adds GMA has used guest hosts in the past, most notably during anchor Robin Roberts cancer-related absence when the likes of Oprah Winfrey, Stephen Colbert and the entire cast of Modern Family all served as fill ins.
Tebow also previously starred as the Denver Broncos quarterback before being replaced by Peyton Manning, who has since led the team to this weekend's Super Bowl against Seattle.
According to The Reporter, the area just outside of GMA's Times Square studios has been converted to Super Bowl Boulevard in anticipation of the game at nearby MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
Tebow made his ESPN debut on Jan. 6 during the BCS Championship game.
"As someone who's positive, I'd love to continue to be someone who is positive," he said then. "I'd also like to be objective. I've never had a hard time saying what I believe."
In all, Tebow played three NFL seasons, with his best year coming with the Broncos in 2011 when he passed for 1,729 yards and 12 touchdowns.
