Richard Sherman Rant Part 2? Seahawks CB Criticizes Broncos QB Peyton Manning Ahead of Super Bowl XLVIII, 'He Throws Ducks' [VIDEO]

Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman has continuously praised quarterback Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos' offense, even calling him "one of the greatest" signal callers ever, however he has been highly critical of Manning's arm strength and has stood by his comments on Wednesday.

According to ESPN, Sherman wrote a column on TheMMBQ.com listing the top five smartest quarterbacks in the game, and after listing Manning as No.1 he also criticized his arm.

"His arm, however, is another story. His passes will be accurate and on time, but he throws ducks," Sherman wrote per ESPN.

Since returning from major neck surgery in 2012, Manning has gotten a lot of flak for the strength in his throwing arm--or lack thereof--despite the fact that he threw for an NFL-best 5,477 yards and an NFL-record 55 touchdowns this past season while leading Denver to Sunday's Super Bowl matchup with the Seattle Seahawks at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

Sherman, who is never media shy unlike teammate Marshawn Lynch, stuck to his guns on Wednesday.

"I still feel the same way I felt," Sherman said via ESPN. "He's a great quarterback, he does a great job. But at the same time, when he catches the ball, he doesn't necessarily catch the laces all the time. But he throws an accurate ball, regardless of how he catches it, how he gets it -- he delivers it on time and accurately."

Sherman also praised the Broncos receiving corps and said he believed that they're a very strong group. One of Manning's receiver stuck up for him as Demaryius Thomas praised his signal caller.

"It is funny to me, I think it's just people look at his numbers, what he's done and there is nothing to talk about, nothing, no questions there," Thomas said per ESPN. "He's the best player in the game right now. We don't pay attention to all of that, we do our jobs, get ourselves to the right spot, and he always gets the ball there."

Thomas also said that he believes Sherman is the best corner in the game.

"I do feel like he's the best in the game," Thomas said of Sherman, according to ESPN. "Watching film on him, he's in the right spot at all times. He knows what's going on on the field, he knows leverage and all this other stuff. I am going to have to figure something out."

Sherman will have to hope that Manning's arm is weak on Sunday and that he can shut down the receivers he praised en route to giving Seattle their first Super Bowl in franchise history.

"I think it's definitely an opportunity for us to cement ourselves as a historic great defense," Sherman told ESPN, "because winning a Super Bowl is what does that."
