Seattle Seahawks star cornerback Richard Sherman surely raised his national profile when he torched San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Michael Crabtree in a postgame interview following the NFC Championship game, but he also turned the spotlight on his girlfriend.
Ashley Lillian Moss has been receiving tweets of all kinds since Sherman's game-sealing deflection and ensuing rant; the tweets have been both positive and negative. According to reports, not much is known about Moss. She showed a small measure of support for her boyfriend, retweeting his message that read "A lion doesn't concern himself with the opinions of a sheep."

The limited information on Moss is as follows: she is 25 years old, hails from Redmond, Washington, and was at one time a waitress at Joey restaurant. Beyond that, a LinkedIn profile with the same name indicates she's a cosmetologist, but it isn't certain that profile belongs to the same Moss. It is also not clear how long she's been dating Sherman, but photos of him at various events have included her for about a year.
While Twitter and social media in general can be an ugly place, Moss has gotten support from fans of Sherman, and internet Good Samaritans in general. One Twitter user wrote Moss, "Been praying for you two. Hope you are weathering the absolute craziness that I'm sure is enveloping your world! Hang in there."
Another supporter tweeted "You two are probably the most beautiful couple I've ever seen." The fan also said "I've been upset all day over the things people have said to him! He's done so much good and doesn't deserve any of this."
A third Twitter user shot her a tweet to express her appreciation for Sherman and his outspoken manner. "@Ms_Moss22 please tell Richard that I think he's awesome & don't worry about no haters or ignorance. He's the man! Keep doing his thing."
Sherman has toned down the theatrics during media week, playing the role of the good guy. Denver Broncos QB Peyton Manning will have his hands full with Sherman come Super Bowl Sunday; the Seahawks star led the NFL with eight interceptions this year.
