Wes Welker Wife [PHOTOS] Ray Lewis Drama: Will Anna Burns Welker Lash Out At Super Bowl XLVIII?

As the Welker family preps for Super Bowl XLVIII this Sunday where wide receiver Wes Welker and the Denver Broncos will take on the Seattle Seahawks at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, many people can't help but think back to when Welker's wife, Anna Burns Welker lashed out at Ray Lewis following last year's AFC Championship Game. Welker--as a New England Patriot--saw his team fall to the eventual Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens.

Following the game, there was a lot of sour grapes in the New England area, but the most memorable one came from Burns, as she took to Facebook to publically chastise Lewis for his murderous past.

"Proud of my husband and the Pats. By the way, if anyone is bored, please go to Ray Lewis' Wikipedia page. 6 kids 4 wives. Acquitted for murder. Paid a family off. Yay. What a hall of fame player! A true role model!" she wrote on Facebook.

Welker, who has had myriad concussions but will be good to go when he tries to help the Broncos win a Super Bowl, married Burns in Aspen during the summer of 2012, according to Bleacher Report.

She eventually apologized for her comments about Lewis and said that she was caught up in the heat of the moment following the game and that she acted irrationallly. Burns also said she was "deeply sorry" for her public outburst.

With her past actions of lashing out when things don't go well, it will be interesting to see if she has anything to say if the Seahawks' Legion of Boom gets their hands on her husband, who has suffered through past injuries. If she flipped out after her husband lost the AFC Championship Game, one can only imagine how she'll react if he loses in the Super Bowl.

It is possible, however, that she learned her lesson from the last time she got into the mainstream media for the wrong reasons and that she'll be on her best behavior.

Welker looks to win his first Super Bowl, and appeared in 13 games this season, catching 73 passes for 778 yards and reaching the end zone 10 times.
