New Jersey and Nashville have both lost two of their last three games but are coming off of victories. The first time these two teams met, the Devils shutout the Predators 5-0 in Nashville on Nov. 10.

The Predators are coming off of a 4-3 win over the Winnipeg Jets on Tuesday, but may be without defenseman Shea Weber tonight due to an upper-body injury.

"It's definitely tough when you lose a guy like him," sometime partner Seth Jones told The Associated Press. "Anyone, it's tough, but especially him. He's our leader. He kind of makes us go. ... Without him, it'll definitely be tough. But other guys on the [defense] and the team will definitely step up."

Weber (13-23-36) is second on the team in scoring while David Legwand (9-28-37) leads the team and Craig Smith (16-17-33) is third.

The Devils are coming off of a 3-2 win over the Stars and will look to keep striding in the right direction.

The team has been paced by Jaromir Jagr (16-30-46), Patrik Elias (10-21-31) and Marek Zidlicky (8-21-29) thus far this season.

In net, New Jersey will likely turn to Martin Brodeur, who is 13-11-4 with a 2.52 goals-against average and a .899 save percentage and he'll likely be countered by Nashville's Carter Hutton, who is 12-8-2 with a 2.86 GAA and a .905 save percentage.

The Devils and Predators faceoff tonight at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.
