WWE SmackDown [SPOILERS]: Results from WWE SmackDown Tapings For 2/7/14 from Des Moines, Iowa

If CM Punk were to return on last Monday's RAW, the WWE was discussing having Randy Orton face Punk, Batista and Daniel Bryan in a fatal fourway for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XXX.

Reports indicate that the following was taped Tuesday night for the edition of WWE SmackDown that's set to air this Friday, Feb. 7 from Des Moines, Iowa as the WWE continues to build towards the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view that airs live from the Target Center in Minneapolis on Sunday, Feb. 23.

In the main event of the evening, Randy Orton defeated Christian via an RKO after Christian was caught coming off of the ropes.

 In the opening segment Daniel Bryan came out and talked about Triple H and being the face of the WWE. He then called out Kane who apologized for attacking him on RAW and said it was unprofessional before adding he was glad their tag team days were over. Bryan challenged Kane, but Kane instead gave him a match with Antonio Cesaro.

Bryan eventually beat Cesaro in the match. Beforehand, Zeb Colter talked about the Elimination Chamber event and touted the fact that Jack Swagger won the match last year and that Cesaro would win it this year. After the match, Kane distracted Bryan and Cesaro hit him with the Neutralizer. Kane then chokeslammed Bryan to end the segment.

The Shield was in tag team action as Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose paired up to take on Kofi Kingston and Dolph Ziggler with Roman Reigns on commentary. Ambrose and Reigns argued the whole match. Reigns eventually nailed Ziggler with the spear and allowed Ambrose to tag himself in to get the win. The Wyatt family then cut a promo on the screen following the match.

In other action, Sheamus defeated Ryback while Bray Wyatt defeated Goldust with Cody Rhodes, Erick Rowan and Luke Harper at ringside. The Shield cut a promo following the match.

Elsewhere on the program, A.J. Lee and Tamina Snuka defeated the Bella Twins after Nikki accidentally threw A.J. into Brie and A.J. hit the Black Widow.

In a backstage segment, Titus O'Neil had an interview with Renee Young and was then attacked by former partner Darren Young and Alberto Del Rio also cut a promo on Batista.

SmackDown continued to build towards Elimination Chamber and focused on the conflict between The Shield and The Wyatt Family as well as Orton having to face everyone in the Chamber match in singles competition building up to it.

--Daniel Bryan opened the show with a promo and Kane interrupted.
--Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose def. Kofi Kingston and Dolph Ziggler with Seth Rollins on commentary. The Wyatts cut a promo afterwards.
--Sheamus def. Ryback.
--Alberto Del Rio cut a promo on Batista.
--Daniel Bryan def. Antonio Cesaro and was attacked by Kane after the match.
--A.J. Lee and Tamina def. The Bella Twins.
--Titus O'Neil and Darren Young had a backstage brawl.
--Bray Wyatt def. Goldust w/ Cody Rhodes, Erick Rowan and Luke Harper at ringside.
--Randy Orton def. Christian w/ an RKO.  

This episode of SmackDown airs just over two weeks before the Elimination Chamber on Feb. 23 and here is the card so far:
