Kate Upton zero gravity [VIDEO]: Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue features two-time cover model floating in a bikini, while photographers struggle to shoot

Kate Upton may have been bumped off the cover of Sports Illustrated's swimsuit issue for the first time in two years, but the busty model is still a major part of the 2014 spread.

After shooting Upton in Antarctica at the risk of melting all the snow, this year they shot her in zero gravity, with hilarious and hot results. She dons a tight-fitting gold one-piece in some photos, while shedding the threads for a more revealing bikini later on.

As she glides up, down and around people are shooting water at Upton who manages to pose perfectly with no bearings. She didn't take all her photos mid-air either. In a second video Upton is posing outside the "Zero-G" airplane in scintillating runway shots with a gold bathing suit.

A third video has Upton in tropical paradise, even if the shooting was a bit of a challenge. This video tracks a crew putting Kate on a hammock suspended from a boat. In this profile piece she describes her happiness shooting in her favorite style of bikini-tiny and full of neon colors.

There wasn't any sign of boyfriend Justin Verlander in any of these videos, although the pair was spotted at an Orlando Magic game shortly before the All-Star break. The Detroit Tigers ace and Upton have had a bit of an on-and-off relationship in the media at least, with Verlander's struggles last season being attributed somewhat to the discord.

After doubling up in 2011 with a Cy Young and MVP award, Verlander finished second in Cy Young voting in 2012. Last year his ERA shot up a full run to 3.46, while he added nearly a walk per game more to his ratio. He went 13-12, and allowed his WHIP to reach 1.35. The Tigers are hoping with Kate back in the picture, he can regain his dominant form.
