Lolo Jones may be the Olympian creating jealousy for her popular Twitter account, but U.S. women's hockey player Kelli Stack seems to be the runaway leader in Twitter marriage proposals.
Extramustard.SI.com reported Tuesday that the 26-year-old Stack, in her second tour of duty as a forward with the U.S. Olympic women's hockey team, spent her free time leading up to her team's gold-medal game against Canada on Thursday sifting through, and retweeting a bevy of marriage proposals she has received.
A sampling from Stack's admirers on Extramustard and Stack's Twitter account:
From the twitter account of Corey Logesky (@CLogesky): "@kstack16 I'll wait until the olympic spotlight starts fade to ask you to marry me, that way you'll know its real"
From G.Spina (@Vet82nd): "@kstack16 Im a Combat Veteran ... Do you realize the amount of PATRIOTISM our children will have after we get married!!!??...I know right"
From Camermany1 (@Camermanny1): "@kstack16 I would ask you to marry me... but your hockey skills are intimidating. Why don't we just remain friends?"
But then, 12 hours later ... "@kstack16 I changed my mind... marry me?"

Stack, who currently plays for the Boston Stack in the Canadian Women's Hockey League, might been a marketing boon to that league as well, especially if her U.S. team takes home the gold.
And she's closer to a gold medal than Jones, who is sitting in 11th place with partner Jazmine Fenlator in the women's bobsled competition with two of the four runs completed.
Jones, however, doesn't have to worry about losing her Twitter title to Stack anytime soon. Jones has 387,000 followers. Stack has not yet reached 8,000.
