Both teams are looking to bounce back from difficult losses in the semi finals in order to leave Sochi with a medal.
the U.S. went unbeaten in group play and won its quarterfinal against the Czech Republic, but it will look to bounce back from a tough loss against Canada in the semifinals on Friday. Canada ousted the U.S. in the gold medal game four years ago at the Vancouver Games as well.
Finland is coming off of a loss in the semifinals to Sweden and will look to medal after being eliminated from gold medal contention from a Sweden team that looks for its first gold medal since the 2006 Games.
