After two years of courtroom battles the NFL wants rapper M.I.A. to pay $16.6 million as a result of her action at the Super Bowl halftime show in 2012. Maya Arulpragasam or M.I.A. was the performer who raised the middle finger to the camera during her set and ever since has been in a legal battle over the damages the NFL believes she caused.
