St. Louis has lost four of its last five and will try to bounce back from a Week 8 defeat while San Francisco had a three-game winning streak snapped last time out.
The 49ers have dealt with a rash of injuries and will look to overcome them as they try to make it to the Super Bowl for the second time in three years. The team has also dealt with distractions over the notion that the players may not be on the same page as the coach.
"You take things with a grain of salt," coach John Harbaugh said via ESPN, "especially from people that don't know you or have some other agenda that they may be serving. I take it with a grain of salt and go about doing our jobs."

Kaepernick is 143-for-224 this season for 1,719 yards with 11 touchdowns and five interceptions thus far this season.
Kaepernick's best target has been Anquan Boldin, who has a team-best 447 receiving yards off of 39 catches with one touchdown. Frank Gore has been a solid threat on the ground, rushing for 423 yards on 102 carries while reaching the end zone once.
The Rams are also coming off of a loss as they fell 24-7 to the Kansas City Chiefs last week and quarterback Austin Davis was sacked eight times.
Davis is 150-for-230 this season for 1,680 yards with 10 touchdowns and five picks.
Davis' best weapon has been Brian Quick, who has 25 receptions for 375 yards and three touchdowns. Zac Stacy has paced St. Louis on the ground, rushing for 257 yards on 66 carries while finding the end zone once thus far.
