The Stage
European ambitions remain on the minds of Inter Milan.
The club enters the weekend eighth in the table, just two points behind Genoa in sixth and three adrift of Sampdoria. For manager Roberto Mancini, Sunday's battle with Chievo will be fundamental for European qualification.
"Tomorrow [Sunday] will be fundamental because after that there are some very difficult games in the fixture list," Mancini said (via Football Italia). "I think it's going to be a fascinating end to the season, as all the teams can challenge for a place in Europe. This is going to be a very delicate encounter, because Chievo are in good shape and relaxed after securing their safety. We need a great performance to win."
