Dale Earnhardt Jr. Engagement: NASCAR Star, Future Wife Amy Reimann Haven't Picked Date For Their Wedding [VIDEO]

Dale Earnhardt Jr. may drive cars full-speed for a living, but he isn't racing toward the altar.

The popular NASCAR driver got engaged to his long-time girlfriend, Amy Reimann, in June, but he revealed they still haven't set a date for their wedding. The couple has been an item since 2009 and he proposed to her while they were vacationing in Germany over the summer.

"We haven't [set a date]," Earnhardt told TMZ outside of the "Jimmy Kimmel Live" set. "We were waiting on the [NASCAR] schedule to come out and I haven't seen it yet."

When asked if he had a wedding song planned out, Earnhardt said he was leaving it up to his bride-to-be.

"She gets to make all those decisions," Earnhardt said confidently.

Earnhardt also has things to worry about on the track as he currently holds the sixth-place spot in the Race to the Sprint Cup with two wins, 12 top-5 finishes and 17 top-10 finishes.

While no date has been planned for their nuptials, the couple certainly seems happy. Reimann flashed the engagement ring with glee at a Lutheran church that Earnhardt told TMZ his family frequented 300 years ago.

Earnhardt's mother, Brenda Jackson, couldn't hide her excitement when the two got engaged in June.

"I'm very excited for both of them," said Jackson, the second wife of the late Dale Earnhardt, according to Fox Sports. "I'm happy. I know Dale (Jr.) is real excited, and him and Amy love each other very much. I am just looking forward to a wonderful future for the both of them, and hopefully a grandchild for me."
