New York -- and the rest of the NBA for that matter -- is all in on the Kristaps Porzingis hype train, but Jeremy Lin sent the Big Apple a message on Saturday.
“Linsanity” is still permeating around the NBA.
Hornets Can’t Trade Jeremy Lin
The Hornets PG tortured the Knicks en route to a 97-84 victory at Time Warner Cable Arena. Lin finished his night with 26 points and five assists. He was a game-high plus-23 on the court.
In case the Knicks needed a reminder of what they used to have, Lin sent it with Porzingis serving as the sacrificial lamb.

Don’t think Carmelo Anthony was ready to take that sitting down, though.

In the end, Lin proved to be too much for his former team.
With the victory, the Hornets climb to within a game of the Knicks (22-24) in the Eastern Conference (21-23). Both, however, remain out of a playoff spot.
Charlotte returns to the court against the Kings on Monday, while New York hosts the Thunder on Tuesday.
