Julian Edelman may have some baby mama drama afoot.
The Patriots wide receiver reportedly knocked up a Swedish model named Ella Rose prior to moving onto another supermodel in Victoria Secret's Adriana Lima.
Rose filed paternity documents in Los Angeles County Superior Court and claimed that Edelman was the father of her unborn child, according to TMZ Sports. The site also cites sources who claim Edelman and Rose had a causal relationship for two years, though it wasn't anything too serious.
The model is 5 1/2 months pregnant and is reportedly very confident that the baby belongs to Edelman.
Edelman's plight is similar to that of teammate Tom Brady, who impregnated actress Bridget Moynahan before splitting up with her and ending up with his current wife, supermodel Gisele Bundchen.
Brady will begin this season serving a four-game suspension related to the Deflategate drama after finally accepting discipline from the NFL after having two appeals of the ban denied.
Edelman, 30, dealt with a foot injury in 2016 and was limited to just nine games. The receiver hauled in 61 catches for 692 yards and scored a career-high seven touchdowns last season.
The 5-foot-10, 200 pound receiver, who was drafted in the seventh round of the 2009 NFL Draft, has played in 87 games (46 starts) and hauled in 327 receptions for 3,434 yards with 21 touchdowns. He also won the Super Bowl in the 2014-15 season.
