Daniel "Boobie" Gibson's estranged R&B wife Keyshia Cole is set to again perform at this year's Macy's Music Festival to be held at Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati in late July.
Perhaps serving as therapy in putting her marriage woes behind her, Cole is set to perform with a group of stars that include other such headliners New Edition Charlie Wilson, Chaka Khan, Ne-Yo and Mint Condition, according to Cincinnati.com.
It's been a trying year for Cole, who has endured a messy, public split from her NBA husband that has reportedly resulted in her formally filing for divorce. Cole has used social media to repeatedly accuse her husband of cheating after he was captured on video cavorting with various strippers at several Houston night clubs.
Now a free agent who has played seven NBA seasons, Gibson has denied his wife's accusations and recently himself tweeted "don't be fooled." The 28-year-old Gibson attended last week's All-Star Game festivities in New Orleans and stressed he is now only concentrated on resuming his NBA career.
Tickets for the Macy's Festival go on sale late next week and organizers are scheduled to reveal the rest of the festival's list of performers later this week.
