Lamar Odom appeared out of game shape and showed significant signs of rust in his Spanish pro league, according to CBSSports.com.
Perhaps still distracted by his troubles at home and ongoing divorce proceedings from reality TV wife Khloe Kardashian, the former NBA Sixth Man of the Year Award winner was more or less rendered a non-factor in his Baskonia team's 81-71 to Unicaja Malaga Thursday night.
In all, the two time NBA champ played just six minutes to close the first half and finished with two rebounds and three fouls. Odom last played in the NBA during the 2012 season with the L.A. Clippers.
According to CBS, Odom displayed a "lack of match fitness and touch" after being away from the game for more than 10 months. He badly missed the only three-point shot attempt he took.
Odom did not return to the court in the second half, with coach Sergio Scariolo admitting that his body was dealing with various aches and pains born of a long giveaway.
"That's normal at his age after being 10 months out of the game," Scariolo told CBS. "But he's left a good impression. They are typical muscle problems so we just want to be cautious. We'll see how he is tomorrow."
Baskonia's next game is at Valencia on Sunday. As for his relationship with Kardashian, Odom has vowed to win back his wife of four years.
