There has been growing speculation within the WWE that since CM Punk quit it would have an ill effect on his girlfriend, WWE Divas Champion A.J. Lee. While the WWE hasn't shown any signs of slowing down her push as Divas Champion, the plans for WrestleMania XXX may call for her to lose the title soon.

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, several people within the WWE felt that many aspects of this past Monday's episode of RAW, including Lee getting laid out by the Bella Twins at the end of the Divas match, were meant to send a message to Punk for not returning to the WWE for the Chicago episode of RAW the week before.
There was some speculation that the Bella Twins standing over Lee with the title during RAW was a sign that the WWE will take the title off of Lee soon due to the Punk situation not resolving itself. While there was some fear that Natalya was going to beat Lee on last night's live edition of Main Event, Lee ended up escaping the show with her title, but she may not stay champion very much longer.

Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that there is speculation that there could be a Natalya vs. Nikki Bella vs. Naomi match for WrestleMania XXX for the Divas Championship as Naomi is due to return soon from an eye injury. There have been talks that there will be a multi-Diva match at WrestleMania XXX in New Orleans, and it could be a triple threat with those three Divas.
While there is some speculation that the WWE may take the title off of Lee before the event, her going over last night at Main Event suggests that the WWE isn't punishing her for Punk's actions. It's very possible that Lee could be added in with the three Divas and defend her title against them at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on April 6.
Punk stormed out of the company on Jan. 27 prior to a live telecast of RAW on the night after the Royal Rumble pay-per-view and hasn't been seen on WWE television since. Despite rumors to the contrary, Punk didn't show up to his hometown Chicago RAW on March 3, leading many to speculate he is done with the company.
Punk has been upset with his use in the WWE, especially his planned match with Triple H at WrestleMania XXX when he wanted to finally main event the biggest show of the year before his contract expires in July.
It remains to be seen if Punk will return, but despite speculation within the WWE that his girlfriend may be punished for his actions, it looks like Lee may be keeping the belt at least until WrestleMania XXX.
