LeBron's cell phone goes haywire, Samsung emergency tech team works to restore names, data of company's top pitchman [VIDEO]

Samsung electronics officials quickly moved to act this week after top company pitchman LeBron James posted on social media that he had lost all his phone contacts and data information from his cell phone.

"My phone just erased everything it has in it and rebooted," James posted. "One of the sickest feelings I've ever had in my life."

Samsung officials later conceded to TMZ Sports they has assigned what amounted to a small team of tech pros to handle and rectify the issue and hopefully soothe all the potential ruffled feather of the more than 12 million followers James' post stood to reach.

"We are following the situation," the rep told TMZ. "We have a team looking into it. There should be more information soon."

TMZ added a short time later, LeBron, probably realizing the huge PR blunder he had made in the minds of his sponsors, deleted the rant and replaced it with the post "close call. Wheew! Got all my info back. Gamer! Lol."

With that issue seemingly solved, perhaps the four-time league MVP can now get back to the business of providing his team team his undivided attention. The two-time defending champs have lost four of their last five games, including Wednesday night's home lost to Eastern Conference Brooklyn, whom they have yet to beat all season.

"If we had the answer, we would have won," James later told reporters.
