The only surprise that I have with the whole Phil Jackson to the Knicks saga is that it didn't happen sooner and in typical New York they are profiting from the move already. The Phil Jackson number 18 jerseys have hit the shelves among other attire.

The Knicks introduced Jackson Tuesday as the teams new President and soon after the shirts starting hitting the shelves. Few options have been seen thus far, but the number 18 jersey look as well as a bobble headed version of Jackson is also making it’s rounds.

Jackson has had a relatively normal first day on the job, but the plans for Carmelo Anthony and company will be Phil’s first major move he makes in this position of power. Jackson and the Knicks have officially began their rebuilding process and New York is excited about Knicks basketball, at least for the moment.
