Earlier today, the New York Post reported that former NBA player Quinton Ross was dead. The Post reported that Ross was “found buried in a shallow grave.”
Luckily for the former NBA player, the New York Post was wrong. Quinton Ross died, just not the one who played in the NBA. About an hour after the story broke, they added a subtle sentence to their initial story:
“Initial reports that the victim is former Nets basketball player Quinton Ross are incorrect, police said.”
NBA fans on Twitter got creative at the expense of the Post:
at least they were both basketball players. in this one, the post took A dude named quinton ross and assumed it was THAT quinton ross. smh.
