Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that Christian suffered his second concussion within a one-year period during a Fatal Four Way match on RAW against Sheamus, Dolph Ziggler and Alberto Del Rio. It was seen as a minor concussion, however he may end up not making a return to the squared circle.

There had been talk of Christian's in-ring career coming to an end prior to the concussion, and now it seems as though it is more and more likely after the head injury. Ziggler ended up taking Christian's spot in the match against Big E on Main Event, which Big E won.

Christian, 40, who was a big part of helping the WWE tag division return to prominence from 1999-2001 and also had a promising career in TNA, was thinking of winding things down due to the fact that he's been injured before and WWE creative wasn't doing much with him.

There has been some talk within WWE of Christian making a good NXT trainer if he chose to retire and decided to go down that path.

Christian was a part of a tremendous series of tag team ladder matches that started with him and WWE Hall of Famer and longtime friend Edge taking on the Hardy Boyz at No Mercy in 1999. The Dudley Boyz were eventually added to the mix, and the trio had three separate unbelievable triangle ladder and triangle tables, ladders and chairs matches over the years.

Christian eventually worked his way up to the main event. He is a two-time World Heavyweight Champion, four-time Intercontinental Champion and a nine-time Tag Team Champion among other accolades.
