Final Four: UConn showing flashes of 2011 championship team? Should Florida be scared of Huskies? [VIDEO]

The Final Four is finally upon us and it is gearing up to be one for the ages. We have the overall number one, the “most complete team”, the Cinderella with pedigree and the preseason number one all together at last. The final team is the UConn Huskies.

The Basics: What an incredible ride for UConn. The team that needed overtime to beat the No. 10 seed in Saint Joesph’s went on to top the No. 2 seed in Villanova, No. 3 seed in Iowa State and No. 4 seed Michigan State. If nothing else, it has been one extremely entertaining and memorable tournaments for the Huskies. The Huskies have knocked off the Gators before so this rematch could be one for the ages.

Strengths: The Huskies have destiny/momentum on their side and some would say that isn't a strength, but I do. UConn has beaten four very tough teams to earn he right to play Florida and they have beaten them before. The Huskies also topped the popular pick the whole tournament in Michigan State so I wouldn't put anything past this team. The Huskies also rank fourth in free throw percentage and if they keep the game close they wont have to worry about shots from the charity strike

Weakness: UConn has to get hot early and often because they cannot rebound at all. The Huskies rank 202nd and 246th in offensive and defensive rebounding respectfully so all three of the other teams have the advantage over them. UConn also comes in to this game as the perennial underdog and will probably be the underdog no matter who they see if they beat Florida.
