Jim "The Ultimate Warrior" Hellwig was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame and made what proved to be his final appearances at WrestleMania XXX on Sunday and RAW on Monday before ultimately passing away, and now more details are coming in as to his cause of death and how he appeared to be in pain during the weekend.

Superstars of past and present react to the Ultimate Warrior's death

The Warrior collapsed while walking to his car with his family in a hotel hallway in Arizona and ended up dying in the hospital due to what is believed to be a heart attack.

TMZ reported that people that were with The Warrior during WrestleMania weekend in New Orleans said that he looked to be "in constant pain" all weekend and was in rough shape. According to the report aside from looking to be in constant pain, he was sweaty and looked very uncomfortable. People believed something was seriously off with him health-wise during the weekend.

"We all felt like he looked like he was going to blow a gasket. It was pretty easy to see," an anonymous source told TMZ.

People also reportedly felt he looked weak during his signature rope shake during Monday Night RAW.

Triple H spoke to the Associated Press about Vince McMahon, who had an on-and-off professional relationship with The Warrior but told him this weekend, "I've always loved you. Sometimes, I didn't like you, but I always loved you."

Triple H also told the publication that he was glad The Warrior was able to mend fences with the WWE and spend his final weekend being honored by the company.

"We are all grateful to have had the opportunity to get the closure with him, to work to get him back on that platform. Knowing him now, there could have been no better send-off, really, for him, than that. It was everything he would have dreamed off."

Sean "X-Pac" Waltman told AP that he believed The Warrior was in rough shape over the weekend.

"I got a sense he wasn't well. It was sad to me," he told the paper. "He was kind of hunched over. He used to have such great posture. You just had this sense that he wasn't well. But he was in great spirits. He came up to [other wrestlers] and gave them hugs."

Bret "Hitman" Hart told CJAY 92 in Calgary that The Warrior looked happy but unhealthy.

"He seemed good, he seemed happy for sure. I had a sense his health wasn't great. He seemed a little frail. He seemed a little less indestructible than he used to be."

He also said that steroids may have contributed to Warrior's death.

"I don't think it would be a surprise to know he took steroids for a long time and I don't know if he ever stopped."

Jim Ross also spoke about The Warrior's passing in a blog post on his official website.

"In a career and life often marked by controversy, the beauty of the weekend was seeing Warrior come home to WWE accompanied by his family and that they were able to enjoy the celebration together," he wrote.

The Warrior is remembered as an often controversial and crazy WWE Superstar, but he made one of the largest imprints on the wrestling world during his career, which came full circle over the weekend in New Orleans.
