Jabari Parker draft rumors: Duke star applies for, gets housing for sophomore season at Duke [VIDEO]

Jabari Parker has applied for and been accepted for housing next year at Duke, further fueling talk that he may leaning toward foregoing the upcoming NBA Draft and returning for his sophomore season, accordng to Fansided.com.

With freshmen stars Andrew Wiggins, Joel Embiid, Aaron Gordon and Tyler Ennis all having already declared for the June draft, Parker and Kentucky's Julius Randle are the only top freshmen yet to publicly reveal their intentions.

But in the case of Parker, the picture remains a lot more unclear. While some see the step of securing housing simply as a matter of Parker covering all his bases, it, nonetheless, points to just how thought is going into his decision.

Should he declare, many scouts project Parker as the top overall pick and almost every draft boards forecasts him as at least a lottery pick. In being named a first-team All-American as a freshman, Parker averaged 19.1 points, 8.7 rebounds and 1.2 blocks, all team highs.

Duke was upset in the second round of the NCAA tournament by Mercer, with Parker shooting just 4-of-14 and finishing with 14 points. The prideful 19-year-old has stressed he doesn't want the Mercer game to be his last collegiate experience.
