Colin Kaepernick is being investigated by Florida police for a possible sexual assault at a Miami hotel, according to TMZ Sports.
According to the website, the alleged incident took place earlier this month at the Viceroy Hotel. Sources further told TMZ the investigation is now in the "beginning stages" and no charges have been filed.
"The 49ers organization is aware of the recent media report regarding Colin Kaepernick and is in the process of gathering the pertinent facts," the team said in a statement.
TMZ adds "attempts to contact Kaepernick's representatives had yet to garner a response." For what it's worth, the website adds Kaepernick seems unfazed by the allegations, being spotted just on Sunday out at another Miami nightclub partying "with a smile on his face."

TMZ also reports Kaepernick was back at the Viceroy as recently as April 5th, when he hung out with a wedding party near the pool at the hotel. Sources added people in the wedding party insist Kaepernick couldn't have been nicer and "made the bride's weekend."
In recent weeks, Kaepernick has been romantically linked to hip hop celebrity Teyana Taylor and Victoria Secret Model Chanel Iman.
